Welcome aboard USCGC Hamilton!


The USCGC Hamilton (WMSL-753) is a Legend-class cutter homeported in North Charleston, South Carolina at Base Charleston. Hamilton is named for Secretary of the Treasury, Alexander Hamilton. He was the founder of the US Revenue-Marine, which is now the present-day United States Coast Guard.

The Legend-class cutter is also known as the National Security Cutter (NSC) or as the Maritime Security Cutter, Large. The Legend-class is also the largest active patrol cutter class and is the largest of the cutters developed as part of the Integrated Deepwater System Program.

These vessels can be used for a variety of tasks including environmental protection; search and rescue; fisheries protection; ports, waterways, and coastal security; counterterrorism activities; law enforcement; drug interdiction; defense operations; and other military or naval operations.

It is currently the Summer of 2021 and COVID-19 is not part of our canon.

All members of the CGIS RP must be eighteen years of age or older.
